Thanksgiving has passed, sadly, but the Christmas season is now in full swing! I can’t wait to see what this month holds in store! And then, it’ll be a whole new year! 2025 here we come!
But I’m getting way ahead of myself here! Let’s focus on what’s going on right now!
November has come to a close, and so too has the Thankfulness Challenge on the subscriber chat! Some blessings that kept popping up were family and family in Christ! What a blessing it is to spend the Thanksgiving season, and all the holiday season, with those who we hold dear to us! By the way, to all of you who participated, thank you for brightening up my day (and others’ too, I hope) through the blessings you shared with us during the challenge.
Oh, and before I forget, if any of y’all have any ideas of what else I could use the chat space for now that November is over, please share them with me! I don’t really want to let it lay dormant until next Thanksgiving, but I don’t really know what else to do with it that goes with the theme of my blog!😅
So what is going on this month? Well, first of all, if you’re following me on Notes, you will hopefully see one of these pop up everyday:
I will hopefully be sharing a Christ-centered Christmas song via Notes everyday through Christmas! Each one will contain a link to someone singing the song, and I will also provide lyrics if the song is public domain. Perhaps you will discover some new carols that will become favorites in Christmas seasons to come!
What about posts! Well, I hope to return to a more normal schedule after my semi-break this past month. However, I’ve decided to make the schedule more flexible. In light of this, posts may go out on random days each week, rather than at set times. Moreover, if I need to slow down, you may receive only one post any given week. While I prefer to keep a tight schedule, I have discovered that locking myself into one tends to make me really stressed out, so the blog schedule will be more flexible in the future.
Also, it has come to my attention that many of my favorite bloggers have done a Q&A post, and I have yet to do one! So, you may expect a Q&A section in an upcoming newsletter. In order to do that, though, I will need some questions to answer! So, please feel free to ask a question in the thread on the chat or in the comment section! (These questions can be silly or personal or whatever . . . however, be aware that I may not be able to or may decide not to answer every question I receive.)
Also, in case you missed it, I have turned on pledges!
I don’t know yet how I’m going set up paid subscriptions, but they will probably be set up by the end of January, and I already have some ideas for paid-subscriber-only content that you won’t want to miss!
As we enter the Christmas season, allow me to wish you a merry Christmas, and encourage you to keep Christmas centered on Christ this holiday season!
Your sister in Christ,
Melody🌹Polar
Ooo! I love the song idea!
